Jeez Green, your belief in Devine Command Theory, that everything that God does is planned and right because it comes from Him rips every moral fibre out of your own being.

So by that rational every time you get back from a ride safely you should thank God.
But if you have a wreck and become a quadriplegic you should also thank God because He is responsible for all and it's always right?
And thank God for saving that child that nearly drowned but was saved.
But also thank God for the killing of thousands if not millions of children every single day as it's part of his plan and so is inherently good?
Believing God has a plan for all and it is always right even though it may seem wrong to us mere mortals is another true horror of religion because it justifies horrific things that happen to our fellow man and allows us to pass on our responsibility of what should be our full dedication to help and resolve the pain and suffering of another human being.

Even giving mankind free will to choose his destiny.

If God is in the equation, MANKIND IS NOT FREE BUT A SLAVE.
Believe in me and you will be rewarded. Don't and you will be punished.
There are no other options.

But I did mention this before Green and as usual it was ignored, pushed aside and discounted without rebuttal.

Life would be dull and pointless.

I do not believe in the slightest and I live a rich and full life. Why is my life not dull and pointless? In my opinion I am thankful I do not waste my life on something that has never been proven or verified.

The core principal of Christianity is based on the demand of worship to an unproven being or burn in Hell for all time!
It is the first of your Ten Commandments!
That is not free will.
That is not freedom in any sense.
That is not making your own choices in life.
You will do as you are commanded.
There will be no variation.
There will be no deviation from what is required.
No questioning the rules that have been set for you.
You just do it without question.
OR ELSE!!!

Why do you persistently ignore this Green?
Why don't you ever tackle any of the challenges raised but simply choose to ignore them?
Why do you blindly repeat foolish statements after they have been proven to not be the case?
Perhaps I am even wrong? Maybe I have missed the mark?

In every point I have ever raised against religion, not a single one has been shown or proved incorrect and I have had to withdraw.

But over and over I have logically shown religion to be flawed.

This is precisely why religion has caused so much pain, suffering, torture, death, and disharmony in this world.
There is the religious way and no other so don't dare question it. Even if logical challenges and enquires are raised.
If you do all points will be completely ignored, persecuted, and all will be squared away for the religious with their fall back classic's "God is mysterious" and "Who can possibly understand God's greater plans?".

And completely innocent unborn children in their mothers wombs have contracted Aids.

I used to feel the same as you Yannih, its something that is hard to explain.It really must be experienced to truly know.I have no answer for you my friend, sorry.

Don't be sorry Bump. At last someone has the balls to tell the truth.
I bring up point after point and they are completely ignored by the faithful.
You have admitted you have no answer. Thankyou for the truth which seems so hard for the religious to comprehend.

I still have absolutely no idea how you can be presented with so many of these challenges and and blindly accept them as part of a greater unproven being and concept, but all of that is completely irrelevant.

However you do have one huge advantage over me.
At the end if I am correct I can't tell you I was right because we will all be nothing.
However if at the end you are right you can wave me goodby with a smug smile as I descend to an ultimate fate.
It's just that I am not going to sacrifice what I believe is one shot at life unless presented with something, anything that shows me the true way.

And as a guy trying to ensure I live the best life I can while at the same time trying to be good and fair to others, I don't think that is too much to ask.

Lol Yanman;)You seem ta have it all pretty well figured out.It's kinda like Bump says...you can't really describe the 'knowing'.It just is.Jesus said to the religious of His day.."You say 'we see'...therefore,your sin remains".EVERYONE thinks THEY have 'the answer'.So smart.So together.There just may be another realm of reality that is only seen through a particular lens.When I say..'they',I also mean ME.I haven't arrived.
And yes,it's totally possible and factual that 'unbelievers' can have a full good life.God is a choice.Faith is a choice.I don't have to know the answers for every thing on Earth and why.I only need to believe what works for me.That's all.Faith works for me...if 'not' believing works for someone else,hey,that's fine.I used to be a non-believer as well.

Well I am not lost but I am blessed and I dont feel doomed. Seeing what I have seen for 30 years and to still believe in the goodness in people gives me hope. Besides I just got a new ninja so Im good..lol

I have no problem with you believing in whatever you want to, as long as it doesn't require to harm others. Or even allow it (just by saying sorry).

I guess that's my extended version of 'Do unto others ...'
